The COVID-19 situation in India continues to be severe, as lockdown measures and transport problems persist. India now has the third highest burden globally. There are Covid-19 cases in every village. As our work is amongst the very poor who cannot sustain their livelihoods during lockdown, we are focusing on providing food and care to the neediest. All our schools are currently closed. Instead, we have intensified our tailoring work so that more face masks are being produced.
